What
Garden of Hope fundraiser Oct. 11-14
When
10/11/2022

During the week of Oct 11th, Ms. Errico and the 5th grade students are sponsoring a “Garden of Hope” in support of research towards a cure for Rett Syndrome.

Rett Syndrome is the leading genetic cause of severe neurological impairment in females and considered the most severe form of autism. Afflicted girls are born “normal” only to be robbed of normal movement, speech and the ability to walk or use their hands. Researchers have been able to reverse Rett Syndrome in mice. Now the race is on to save these girls. For more information, go to www.girlpower2cure.org or speak with Lizz Errico, the teacher of class 2-227.

Help us plant our “Garden of Hope” by donating $1.00 for a paper flower. If you contribute $5.00 you will receive 6 flowers. Tables will be set up in the schoolyard at drop off. This is where your child can sign their flower, which will be hung in the cafeteria.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution, please make your check payable to girlpower2cure.
