What Your Donation Supports
- Lower student:teacher ratio: Our Associate Teacher salaries are 100% funded by the Annual Fund. PS6 is the only District 2 school with an Associate Teacher in every 3K-5 classroom.
- Arts programs: Art (3K, PreK), Hip Hop (K), Chinese Cultural Center (1st), African Dance (3rd), National Dance Institute (2nd, 4th), and Creative Stages NYC: Shakespeare (5th).
- Building maintenance: The eco-center, library, and art room are treasured facilities that require upkeep. Other capital improvements include ACs, classroom carpets, water filters, and general repairs.
- Improved student experience: Recess coaches, school technology, lice checks, music equipment, gym equipment, extracurriculars, our website, and so much more.
