School Leadership Team
The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group of people who develop the educational policies for PS6. They also make sure there are resources to support those policies.
SLT Role
School Leadership Teams (SLT) are composed of PS6 staff, teachers, and parents. Together, the SLT works collaboratively to develop the School’s Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP). The SLT is the primary means by which parents work with the school administration to establish school priorities, ensure the budget is aligned with those priorities, and evaluate our school's progress.
Enrichment Programming
The PS6 SLT welcomes participation in creating enrichment programming for our students and community events for our families. Please submit an application to help the SLT evaluate which proposals can be considered for further development.
SLT Members
There are four parent members of the SLT in addition to the PTA Co-Presidents. They are elected at PTA elections in the spring and serve staggered two year terms.
